Arrive in Moshi and transfer to your hotel. Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing to review the route, safety measures, and equipment. Rest and prepare for the adventure.
Drive to Marangu Gate (1,870m) for registration. Begin the trek through the lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for colobus monkeys. Arrive at Mandara Hut (2,720m) after 3-4 hours of hiking.
Continue through the forest into the moorland zone, where you’ll see unique vegetation like giant lobelias. After 5-6 hours of trekking, reach Horombo Hut (3,720m) with stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Trek through alpine desert terrain as you approach Kibo Hut (4,703m). This 5-6 hour hike prepares you for the summit push. Have an early dinner and rest before the midnight ascent.
Start the final climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) under the stars. Reach the summit after 6-7 hours of trekking, where you’ll witness an unforgettable sunrise. Celebrate your achievement, then descend back to Horombo Hut (3,720m) for a well-earned rest.
