Best Time to Climb:

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guide for a pre-climb briefing and gear check. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration. Begin the trek through the lush rainforest, keeping an eye out for wildlife like monkeys. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,800 m) for dinner and overnight.
Trek through dense forest before transitioning to heather and moorland zones. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp (3,500 m) with stunning views of Mount Meru and the Shira Plateau.
Continue across the Shira Plateau with breathtaking views. Reach Shira 2 Camp (3,850 m), where you can enjoy the panoramic vistas of Kibo Peak and the surrounding valleys.
Ascend to the Lava Tower (4,600 m) for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp (3,960 m). Pass through the scenic moorlands and enjoy the dramatic Barranco Wall views.
Conquer the Barranco Wall and traverse ridges and valleys before arriving at Karanga Camp (4,035 m). This day provides excellent acclimatization and incredible vistas.
Trek through alpine desert terrain to reach Barafu Camp (4,640 m). Rest and prepare for the final summit push later that night.
Begin the summit attempt at midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) at sunrise and celebrate your achievement. Descend to Barafu Camp for breakfast, then continue to Mweka Camp (3,100 m) for overnight.
Complete your descent to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to Moshi for rest or onward travel.
